Two mandala styles
Both are drawn from geometric rules and a design number, so every number is a different page and the same number always gives the same page. Click one to open it in the generator.
- Radial garden
- Rings of leaf shapes around a centre, joined by spokes and finished with a scalloped edge. Symmetry sets how many leaves go round each ring.
- Petal bloom
- Layers of petals, each ring a different petal shape, around a small centre of circles. Detail sets the number of petal rings.
Symmetry and detail by age
Starting points for a page that gets finished rather than abandoned. Higher Detail means more rings and smaller spaces; higher Symmetry means more repeats around the circle.

Make a mandala coloring book
The generator can put several pages into one PDF, so you can print a set for a class, a party or a long trip in one go.
- Set up one page you like: style, Detail, Symmetry, line weight, paper, border and an optional caption such as Name: ______.
- Under Coloring book PDF, choose 5, 10 or 20 pages, and either This style only or All five styles (the two mandalas plus tiles, hexagons and waves).
- Download coloring book. Page 1 is the design number shown; each following page uses the next number. Note the first number, or copy a link to the design, to print the same book again.
Pattern PDFs are vector lines, so pages stay sharp at any printer resolution and the file stays small. A caption with letters outside basic English makes 300 DPI image pages instead, because the PDF's built-in font cannot show them.
Print, edit or share
- Use Download PDF and print at 100% / Actual size. The page is exactly A4 or US Letter with a 12 mm margin, so nothing is cut off.
- Edit the lines
- Download SVG gives the same drawing as vector paths with the page size in millimetres, for vector editors and cutting machines.
- Share a design
- Copy a link to this design (under the design number) saves the style and settings in a link. It opens the same mandala on another device; it never contains a photo or your caption.
- Paper
- Plain 80 gsm paper is fine for pencils and crayons. For markers, use 120 gsm or card so ink does not soak through.

Symmetry goes from 6 to 20 parts in steps of two. Detail from 2 to 9 sets how many rings are drawn.
Can I make a coloring book with different mandalas?
Yes. Coloring book PDF makes 5, 10 or 20 pages with consecutive design numbers, in one style or mixing all five styles.
Which file should I use for a Cricut or a laser cutter?
The SVG. It holds the lines as vector paths at the real page size in millimetres. The pages are drawn as lines for coloring, not checked as cut paths, so try a small test cut first.
